It is a sequel of the 2018’s released horror film “Halloween” which was again a direct sequel of the 1978’s “Halloween” film. This film is the twelfth installment in the Halloween franchise.

Halloween Kills is directed by David Gordon Green whereas it is produced by Bill Block, Jason Blum, and Malek Akkad. This movie is based on the characters by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Halloween Kills are written by Danny  McBride, Scott Teems, and David Gordon Green whereas cinematography is done by Michael Simmonds. The music is given by Cody Carpenter, John Carpenter, and Daniel Davies whereas it is produced by the production companies Blumhouse Productions, Rough House productions, Miramax, and Trancas International Pictures. It is distributed by Universal Pictures.

Producer Jason Blum had already said in September 2018 that if “Halloween” movie performs well, then they will definitely go for its sequel. Finally, he confirmed in October 2018 that the development of a sequel has started. The location for production and filming of the two films “Halloween Kills” and “Halloween Ends” simultaneously are confirmed on 19th July 2019 which was Wilmington, North Carolina. Finally, the filming has started on 16th September 2019. On 16th October 2019, additional filming has occurred and finally, the film ended filming on 3rd November 2019.

Halloween Kills Release Date

Earlier the Halloween Kills was scheduled to be released theatrically on 16th October 2020. But later in July 2020, due to the covid-19 pandemic, they postponed the release date of both the movies “Halloween Kills” and “Halloween Ends” which was planned in July 2019. Now, the Halloween Kills got the new release date and it is scheduled to be released after a year on 15th October 2021 followed by “Halloween Ends” on 14th October 2022.

All the old cast from 1978 and 2018 reprising their roles in the 2021 sequel as well which are James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle as Michael Myers or The Shape who is the main character a masked figure who carried out a horrific massacre, Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, Judy Greer as Karen Nelson, Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Dylan Arnold as Cameron Elam, Nancy Stephens as Marion Chambers, Omar Dorsey as Sheriff Barker, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Ryan Lewis as Deputy Sullivan, Brian F. Durkin as Deputy Graham, Michael Smallwood as Marcus, Jibrail Nantambu as Julian Morrisey, Carmela McNeal as Venessa, J. Gaven Wilde as Dennis, Salem Collins as Christy, Mike Dupree as Ventriloquist, Giselle Witt as Mindy, John Flanagan as Paramedic, Diva Tyler as Sondra and Andy Bethea as Police Officer, etc.

This sequel will continue the story from the 2018’s Halloween film. In that, we have seen Laurie Strode and her family trapped a Michael who came to kill them in the basement of the house and fire up the whole house but in this sequel we will get to see Michael escapes from that fire and will still continue his journey to find and kill them. So overall 2018’s Halloween was the biggest hit and got a rating of 6.5 on IMDb. As per the rumor, in this sequel, we will get to see the more brutal version of Michael so everybody is eagerly waiting to see that.
