Today in this article we will be talking about the Elvis Presley Biopic. It is a 2021 upcoming biopic drama film about Elvis Presley who was an American actor, singer, and musician. He was a very well known icon of the 20th century and who was also known as “King Of Rock And Roll” or simply “The King”. This biopic is directed by Baz Luhrmann whereas it is produced by Gail Berman, Baz Luhrmann, Patrick McCormick, Catherine Martin, and Schuyler Weiss under the production company The Jackal Group and Bazmark Films.
The screenplay is written by Craig Pearce and Baz Luhrmann whereas the music is given by Elliot Wheeler. The cinematography is done by Mandy Walker and it is edited by Jonathan Redmond and Matt Villa. This biopic is created to distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
This biopic project was on news in 2014 when Luhrmann was into negotiation to direct with Marcel writing the script. But then the project hasn’t touched till 2019. In March 2019, direct and writer got confirmed and Marcel got out of this biopic. After the cast and crew got finalized, finally on 28th January 2020, the principal photography of the film has started in Australia. Production got halted on 12th March 2020 when Hanks and his wife tested Covid positive. Later the shooting got resumed on 23rd September 2020. During filming, in September 2020, some cast got confirmed and some got replaced due to the delay in shooting.

As per the planned, earlier the biopic was scheduled to be released on 1st October 2021 but due to the covid-19 pandemic shooting got postponed and that to rescheduling the released date. Finally, the new release date announced and now the biopic is scheduled to be released on 5th November 2021.
