One restaurant in Liverpool has chosen to make a dish only for the women and it has them in a spot of trouble.
Manhattan Bar and Grill have highlighted a “women” filet steak on their menu, which is smaller in size than their different steaks.
A picture of their steak option was shared on Twitter by food writer Vicky Andrews, demonstrating the 8oz women steak costing £18.95 and being depicted as “one for the women! A wonderful 80 cut, cause we can…”
The café likewise has a 12oz New York Sirloin steak on their menu, just as a 10oz filet steak and a 16oz T-bone steak.
Ladies via social networking media weren’t extremely shocked with the way that they were being offered a smaller steak.
One client commented: “Wait a sec, let me make sure I have ‘man-size’ tissues at the ready before I tuck into my ‘lady’ steak.”
Another stated: “This lady would prefer a big ole ribeye steak.”
A third stated: “Gender-specific steak. Ridiculous, like gender-specific gin, can’t be doing with it! Guess what people, women drink Navy Strength too y’know and eat big steak!”
Another person said they would leave the restaurant if they saw this one on the menu, including: “It’s the 2020s, not the 1920s!”
“This enraged me,” declared a fifth.
An alternate client solicited: “Don’t they understand the climate of the times?”
