A mum who thought she had gobbled up a great deal mat online said she could only laugh when she was looked at the real item.
Charlotte McAteer has been caught up with changing her home and had her heart set on a great feathery floor mat for her own room after recognizing the one via social networking platform.
Scouring the market, the 24-year-old couldn’t believe her eyes when she discovered a dream mat for only £9.99 on the online marketplace Wish. The online advert showed a model sinking her feet into soft fluff as she took walks over the floor covering, appearing almost too good to be true.
When a delivery turned up in a little pack, the mum from Salisbury was left thinking what else she might have ordered. It ended up being an exceptionally small floor mat she was expecting – just barely huge enough for her 2-year-old little girl Aoife to put the two feet on.
Charlotte said the mat is ‘as thin as paper’ and can be effectively folded into quarters, with the feathery surface she thought for ending up being just somewhat ‘hairy’. Fortunately, the mum-of-one saw the funnier side and the mat has been gifted to her little girl.
Be that as it may, the experience has put her off purchasing online again after the dodgy buy.
