A woman who got tired of her ‘shabby’ couch yet would not like to purchase another one got creative to change it into one that looks ‘totally new’.
Revealing that her old sofa was worn and hard to clean, she chose to sew a completely new spread for the couch to leave it unrecognizable.
Needing to give the couch another rent of life, she chose to supplant the dark-colored cowhide look with dark material she purchased for £19.99 a meter.
She clarified she started by reconstructing the couch, removing the cushions to discover every one of the creases and work out how it was initially made.
Next, she made a paper design for each area of the spreads, estimating them to measure and reproducing the shape out of the new material. The shapes were then stuck onto the couch to ensure it completely secured each surface and fit together.
She made the covers for the arms first, before handling the cushions. The less expensive pattern was used for the underside of the cushion and she alluded to a YouTube video to assist her with idealizing the pipping.
The final product was brilliant.
