Everything appeared to go swiftly as the reporter conveyed his piece to camera effortlessly while fans youthful and old waved in the back. However, watchers missed a mind-blowing part of the report – which has since been marked ‘greatest theft captured on the film.’

As a man gets occupied seeing his companion’s smartphone, a kindred Hurricanes fan tenderly lifts the ice cream he is holding out of its tissue and takes a big bite.

The light-fingered cheat, now distinguished as Weston Davis, tried to return the ice cream yet as its owner gets aware of the raid and glances around to look at his mugger, Weston ducks into the crowd in the back to escape with the loot.

The clip has since been seen a large number of times online after being shared by ESPN and the official Hurricanes account, where individuals were left surprised by the ‘smooth move’.
