Hermoine had a different name

Before Rowling changed a portion of our most loved character’s names to what we know them as today, these were about to be their unique names: Hermione Puckle, Neville Puff, Draco Spinks, Lily Moon (Luna Lovegood), Madhuri Patil, and Mati Patil.


In a meeting with Oprah, Rowling uncovered that she based the dementors off of a period of misery in her twenties.
