When the moon is directly on the horizon, it tends to appear larger and a lot closer than it actually is. This is known as the Ponzo Illusion. It is done by our brain which inflates the size of the moon to make it appear a lot more bigger than it really is. Try this, that when you are looking at the oversized moon try and block everything else with your hand and you will see the size of moon getting smaller.

After leaving the surface of the moon, the astronauts described the smell of moon dust like gunpowder and the surface to be extremely soft. Scientists are not able to find the reason for this as both of them have different compositions with moon dust consisting of small shards of silicon dioxide glass.

Which means that if you were to put Saturn in a glass of water, it would float! Unfortunately for that, you’ll need a glass of water which is of that size.
